We are the children of the shadows. No one is
beyond our reach. We have dedicated our lives to the darkness and given our souls to its
cold embrace. Ours is a life many have chosen but only few may walk. Through speed and
stealth we are all but invisible. To be discovered is to betray our dark mother and end
our lives. Each of us has taken an oath to spread fear and terror into the heart's of the
bravest of men.
Many believe us a myth to be ignored. It is these poor souls that have mistaken us for the
whispering wind before the light in their eyes grew dim. Others thought us destroyed long
ago. These are the incompetent fools that realize, all too late, that we still live. Still
some know of our existence and believe they are safe in their homes. They are the ignorant
cattle that are discovered slaughtered in their beds with both window and door bolted
tight.
Through us you will remember why the shadows are something to fear. It is we, few though we are, that will seem as if we are everywhere. Your lives are in our hands. We will be waiting, should you enter the shadows alone.

He is believed to be without sight, yet his skill with the sword knows no equal. Said to
be an ancient warrior, his skills honed over time by a methodical devotion to training.
Secretly, it is whispered that he is an immortal demon, able to cheat death itself.
Kazama Hiroshi
Founding member of the Shadow Warriors and Andre Cailloux's
right-hand man. Raised in the art of stealth, Hiroshi came under Andre's tutelage as
a teenager and looked to his sensei as a father figure. Recently returned from a
journey of enlightenment, he has reclaimed his place at his sensei's side.

Nathaniel King
was born the youngest of triplets. Separated soon after their birth, Nathaniel lived on
his instincts alone. During that time, he met a wandering old master who taught him the
way of human martial arts. Nathan has found his family now, but still he struggles to
blend his human teachings with his natural instinct.

Since
being dedicated to the Warrior Goddess as an infant, Kero's life has been spent
training in the martial arts. The blade of her skill was tempered during her
stint as a mercenary, and honed with time. Now under Andre's tutelage, she is
learning to weave stealth and subtlety with her strength and skill, making her
an even deadlier weapon.

Like the phoenix,
she has risen from the ashes of death to live again. A benign woman on the surface,
but woe to he who does not hold with caution that which lurks beneath the skin. A
High Priestess of Chronepsis, many speculate that she may be a messanger of the Dragon god
of Death, Fate and Judgment. Who can say which being to cross her path will be the
one to face judgment?

Also known as the "Desert Shadow", he is a
soldier from a world that has seen more horrors than Rhydin shall ever know. Steel
is tempered by fire; a desolate life of bloody struggle forged, what may have been, a
gentle man into a weapon of flesh and bone. He is a wanderer from a world where the
sun never rises and where the screams of his enemies become silent echoes in the boundless
void of the night.
